FAFSA 2023-2024 Application is available for Seniors

Seniors,
Be sure to complete the FAFSA 2023-2024 application.  
A FSA ID for student and one parent is required
https://studentaid.gov/fsa-id/create-account/launch

Then only the student will fill out a FAFSA application for the 2023-2024 school year at:
https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa
Be sure to have parent's 2021 Income Tax documentation.

Three types of financial aid:
GRANTS are financial aid that students do not have to repay.
LOANS are borrowed money that students must repay with interest.
WORK-STUDY lets students work and earn money to help pay for school.


It is a new graduation requirement that each student must do one of the following in order to graduate:

• complete and submit a free application for federal student aid (FAFSA)
• complete and submit a Texas application for state financial aid (TASF)
• submit a signed opt-out form
