CHS students, Vianey Lopez, Sandra Lopez & Sienna Arevalo received the CHS Kindness award for showing kindness to our counseling department.
They noticed how busy the counselors have been so they took it upon themselves to spread some Christmas Cheer by helping decorate the Learning Center counseling offices.
These young ladies exemplify the spirit of gratitude and community that makes CHS special.

Cotulla High School celebrated a major step in the construction of the new high school campus this morning with a special beam-signing ceremony! Students and staff signed a structural steel beam that will be installed in the new building.
The signed beam will serve as a lasting reminder of today’s students and educators as the new Cotulla High School continues to take shape. ✨

Please join us in congratulating our 6 Mighty Cowboy Band members who competed in the ATSSB All-Region Auditions this past weekend and earned spots in the All-Region and Symphonic Bands! 👏
These students will go to Pleasanton on Friday and Saturday for a clinic and concert with all of the best players from our region to show off their talents.
Two of those students will be advancing to the AREA competition in January to compete for the State Ensemble. Congratulations to Elijah Rios and Omar Chapa, who came in 1st overall on his instrument! We are so proud of all your hard work! ANIMO!

Alisandra has been accepted to 3 universities and 3 two-year colleges! She plans to major in Psychology. In addition to her academic achievements, Alisandra is actively involved in Athletic Training and Student Council, showing leadership both in and out of the classroom. She is the daughter of Maria Rodriguez. We wish her the best as she makes her final decision—good luck, Alisandra!
