The Cotulla Cowgirls are STATE BOUND! 💪
The bar is loaded. The season is on the line. And the Cotulla Cowgirls are headed to the biggest platform of the year. After months of relentless work in the weightroom, seven Cotulla Cowgirls have officially qualified for the THSWPA State Powerlifting Meet!
These athletes have battled through an entire season of competition, pushing past limits and proving their strength on the platform time-and-time again. Now they will represent Cotulla High School at the THSWPA State Meet, where the best lifters in Texas will compete for the ultimate title! 🏆

Cotulla High School is proud to announce that Senior Pascual Espinoza has been accepted to Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas for Fall 2026!
Pascual plans to major in Criminal Justice. In addition to his high school coursework, he is a dual enrollment student at Southwest Texas College, where he is earning academic college semester hours. He is also enrolled in the Welding Certification Program and will graduate from SWTX in May 2026.

As the San Antonio Stockshow has come to an end, we’d like to congratulate CHS Senior, Dannika Walker, and CHS Junior, Ryan Sanchez, for their appearances at the show this past week. 🎉
Dannika earned a spot in the auction for placing first in class with her market goat where she was awarded monies that can be used towards her higher education. Ryan competed in the Calf Scramble finals and was once again the first to catch a calf, becoming the 2026 Calf Scramble Champion! He earned a total of $3,800 towards a livestock project for the upcoming year.
We are extremely proud of our FFA members! 👏

A representative from Lincoln Electric recently visited with our CHS welding students! The representative went over hands-on career training that Lincoln Electric offers such as: Automotive Computerized Manufacturing, Diesel Mechanics, & HVAC Electrical Welding. Students were able to ask questions and learn about possible job opportunities. 👏
