On Tuesday, May 19, the Cotulla High School Class of 2026 took time to celebrate the educators who shaped their lives. Students recognized teachers, coaches, and staff from across all campuses, honoring individuals who left a lasting mark from kindergarten all the way through high school.
Students had the chance to choose an educator who truly made a difference in their journey. Some chose a teacher from their earliest years in school, someone who sparked a love of learning. Others honored teachers or coaches from their high school years, those who pushed them to grow, believed in them when it was hard, and helped prepare them for the next chapter of life.
The celebration also included a special recognition for Mr. Reynaldo Garcia, nominated as CHS Teacher of the Year! Mr. Garcia creates an environment where students feel engaged, challenged, and supported. This nomination is a reflection of the dedication and care he brings to his students each and every day!
