Good morning Cotulla High School Seniors,
Cotulla High School is excited to partner with Southwest Texas College Workforce Training and Development to offer a Solar Panel class. This hands-on course will introduce key concepts in photovoltaic systems, including DC/AC theory, solar panel testing, site analysis, and system design using industry tools like the PVWatts Calculator and Solar Pathfinder. Students will develop technical skills while enhancing teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Start: Monday, March 17, 2025
End: Tuesday, March 18, 2025
Time: 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
Location: Cotulla High School Counseling Center
Day 1: Coursework, lecture, videos, electrical concepts, etc.
Day 2: Hands on activities, panel installation, etc.
Eligibility: Must be a Cotulla High School Class of 2025 Senior and you must attend both days.
There are only 12 spots available. You must fill out the Google form.
