CHS Students Advance to State in FCCLA

Students in the FCS Program competed at the Region V FCCLA Conference this past weekend and brought back several awards and gained valuable knowledge and ideas for new programs.  Be on the lookout for our sock project.

Competing were:
*Jiliana Muriel (Focus on Children) with the Bear Project on teen suicide and mental health
*Jasmyn Galvan, Emily Velasquez and Emma Reagan (Focus on Children) with Beat the Storm on vapping
*Mariah Roath (Early Elementary Education) teaching a pre-k lesson on STEM
*3rd place and Advancing to State:  Robert Jordan, Kylina Delgado and Nayeli Gonzales (Interpersonal Communications) with the Burden Bears about having someone to talk to you when you feel you have no one.
