The NHS Lof Jefes Chapter hosted the 1st Annual 3x3 Basketball Tournament on Wednesday, March 8, 2023. There were 14 teams who competed in the March madness tournament. The basketball tournament was run by the Scoreholio app and the teams were able to track their wins and losses throughout the tournament. There were two half-court games running every 15 minutes. As the teams headed into the semi-finals, the games were limited to 7 minute games.
Congratulations to the top 3 teams! The first place team was Isayah Gonzalez, CJ Munoz, and RJ Mendez. The second place team was Sedelia Wilson-Larkin, Jasmine DeLaGarza and Coach Randy Ramirez. The third place team was Daniel Avina, Oscar Charo, and Robert Ayala.
Special thanks to Coach Esteban Rodriguez, Coach Steven Mendoza, and Coach Randy Ramirez for assisting as well as participating in the basketball tournament. The winners received a certificate and snack prize.
