On Tuesday, October 28, the Cotulla High School National Honor Society proudly hosted the First Responders & Military Appreciation Breakfast at the CHS cafetorium, honoring the brave men and women who serve and protect our community.
Guests from the La Salle County Sheriff’s Office, DPS, Cotulla Fire & Rescue, Volunteer Fire Department, EMS, Border Patrol, Dispatch, American Legion Post 409, and local veterans joined students and staff for a hearty breakfast and meaningful conversation.
Representatives from each organization took to the podium to share their experiences — discussing the services they provide, the realities of their work in the field, and what it truly means to serve the community.
It was an inspiring morning filled with gratitude, connection, and respect. Cotulla ISD extends heartfelt thanks to all first responders, military members, and veterans for your unwavering service and sacrifice — and to our NHS members for your leadership, hospitality, and dedication in making this event a success.
