CHS Seniors attend "Keeping Your Body & Mind Safe" Presentation!
On Thursday, January 29, 2026, Cotulla High School Seniors attended an informative presentation delivered by Ms. Michelle King, Development Director of the Child Alliance of South Texas (Child Advocacy Center). The presentation, titled “Keeping Your Body & Mind Safe,” meets the instructional requirements outlined in Texas House Bill 111 and Texas Senate Bill 9 and provided students with essential information to support their physical and mental well-being as they prepare for life beyond high school. We appreciate Ms. King and the Child Alliance of South Texas for their continued partnership and commitment to student safety and education!


On Wednesday, January 28th, the Cotulla Cowboys Powerlifting Team hosted an Invitational Powerlifting Meet at the Cotulla High School Gymnasium. The Cowboy Powerlifting Team competed against powerlifters from Dilley, Natalia, Lytle, and Carrizo Springs, with over 60 athletes competing.
Despite the large field of competitors, the Cowboys swept the competition, earning their second consecutive first-place team title. The following athletes placed in their respective weight classes:

Cotulla High School is proud to announce that Paul Gonzalez, a CHS Senior, has been accepted to Texas A&M University in College Station for the Fall 2026! 🎓✨
Paul is a member of the Mighty Cowboy Band, a Southwest Texas College Dual Enrollment student, and will graduate with his Associate of Arts Degree in May 2026.
Paul has also proudly represented CHS as a UIL Academics competitor and was voted as 2025 Homecoming King. We celebrate this important milestone as Paul prepares to continue his educational journey in Aggieland.

At last night’s School Board meeting, the Cotulla ISD Board of Trustees recognized the Ramirez Burks Elementary UIL team for earning 1st place overall and for each student’s achievements! They also celebrated our Varsity Football team for an outstanding season as UIL 3A Division II Bi-District Champions and Area Finalists.

There will be a MANDATORY tryout information meeting for all prospective Cotulla High School cheerleaders and their parent/guardian:

💲 Important: A $350 payment is required at the meeting.
